All birch stained and installed for upper bunks.

I really like the contrast between the light and dark colors along with the stained wood.

Until the table goes in I keep hitting my forehead on the birch that runs accross the bunks. Added some bright foam to warn me!

Queen Mattress ordered for camper!

The teardrop had an 8" mattress from Walmart and the Scotty had 5" high density that I ordered through an ebay seller.

I've ordered a 6" mattress for the cargo trailer. Should work great as a bed and as dinette seating cushions! Again from Walmart. On sale and free shipping to your home.

Just need my trusty $10 electric knife when the mattress arrives to cut the lower seat cushions and the back cushions. Once laid out it will equal a queen size of 60" x 80".

Bunks/Bed/Dinette seating and rear half wall started

Worked until it was too hot outside. The rear wall will be half solid, half screen. The first row of screens are set exactly at the window height, 35". The second row of screening will give a breeze to the upper bunks.

Besides accessing the under seating storage from inside I am planning on two cargo doors so I have another way to get to needed items if the rear barn doors are open.

The bunks will be 60"long and the other 72". I'll have the traditional bed/dinette set up below. The table height is about 30" and it will drop down to create a queen bed below.

$8.99 at Target. Had one in the Scotty kitchen and loved it.

Wall FRP install complete

It's time for the final push.........the bunk/bed/dinette seating/ half solid rear wall and half screened rear wall.

Window Drip Cap

How I miss my crank out windows..............Instead of the traditional drip cap I stopped at the auto store and purchased a sunroof wind deflector. I've had windows deflectors on my pickup and they stay on forever.

This will allow some ventilation in the trailer until I get to camp and set up an awning.

I really like the look and it keeps with the main details of the trailer exterior: silver and black.

First Aid Kit

I'm using a Case Logic Garage Organizer with a removal pouch for all the important first aid items. I've been using Case Logic soft organizers throughout the trailer project and this particular one works great for the first aid items. The pouch is stocked with typical things needed for the average scrapes. Besides bandades it also has Ace cold packs, burn ointment and the first kid who crys gets a super hero Pez dispenser while they get bandaged up.

Small details for kitchen area

Ikea stainless steel bottle opener for One Beer Barb.

Bin for shoes and a small trash can.

Rubbermaid pull out drawer for side shelving area.

Sliders with large rectangular crates for the base cabinets.

Small details added to bathroom.

A bin under bathroom vanity for dirty wash clothes.

Extra towel bar with toilet paper dispenser.

Ikeas lamp cord shortened to fit just right in vanity area.

Bathroom vanity/sink/hand pump installed.

The vanity is a perfect size for the kids and the height makes it easy for them to use the hand pump. The hand pump is all I need right now and seems to work just fine.

The fresh water has a 3 gallon container and the grey water a 5 gallon. It's a perfect fit below.

Everything is sealed, tested and ready for use!

Driver side walls are up. Window trim installed.

The driver side of the trailer now has all the FRP grey panels in place. The window has trim and the curtains are hung!

Just have to hang another few pieces on passenger side wall with FRP and then the bunk/dinette building is on.

The bed/bunk/dinette area, the rear half wall with cargo doors, the top half rear wall with screen and the fridge installation will make this trailer ready for camping!

Kitchen oak trim installed

Interior front end progress

Just need to add oak trim to right of base cabinet. Second privacy panel installed. Made my own towel bar for bathroom sink area. Drilled a hole for microwave cord.
